Sr. Art Director

Our Sr. Art Director is responsible for the ideation, development, design and execution of clean, innovative creative across traditional and digital media for client projects that are well branded and highly strategic. They should be comfortable explaining their ideas to the internal team and executive-level stakeholders and translating the client’s needs into exceptional but workable solutions, that deliver real results.


  • Concept // Develop strong, strategic ideas aligned with brand and objectives
  • Develop + Oversee creative assets; traditional and digital
  • Collaborate with team members and client partners; Work on new business pitches
  • Oversee outside talent and vendors to develop high quality creative assets
  • Incorporate branding, typography, imagery, color & other elements appropriately using industry standard software
  • Work to achieve the highest level of creativity within budgets and timelines
  • Conceptualize and Design effective brand interaction across all channels
  • Work closely with Creative Director and Account teams on all projects


  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Positive Approach and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, define timing, utilize resources
  • Ability to identify and address project needs and challenges, meet deadlines and stay within budget
  • Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables
  • Ability to direct and delegate to designers, developers, production and/or outside vendors


  • 5+ years print and digital creative work experience and 4+ years higher ed
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a great design and conceptual sense
  • A strong background in creative problem solving, strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, creative execution
  • Fast and efficient contributor to project design and development
  • Experience with Radio, TV, Print, Outdoor, And Digital Development and Oversight
  • Experience with responsive design, content platforms, interactive experiences, and mobile applications
  • Ability to articulate creative concepts and present the rationale to team and/or client
  • Ability to listen carefully to team and client feedback, and rework creative for the best possible final piece
  • Ability to think and respond quickly, maintaining attention to detail on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to assess outside talent and production studios; maintaining relationships with key vendors
  • Excellent organizational skills; an ability to work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail
  • Motivated and dedicated to producing quality work
  • Experience working collaboratively across disciplines with team members at all levels
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Knowledge of After Effects (or other animation software) a plus
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint/Keynote a plus
