Survey software

• The majority of software employed by the research services group is designed and written in-house. This includes the survey engine itself, all reporting and data generation software, the batch mail system and many smaller support tools.

Survey hardware

• Server machines and network equipment are owned, operated, and administered by ODONNELL COMPANY.
• The servers are fast Unix hosts with redundant Raid 1 storage systems.
• All survey data is backed up nightly to a remote site.
• Equipment is physically located in a dedicated secure facility that is also home to a number of telephone and communication companies and financial institutions. There is 24/7 monitoring, redundant electric power, and diesel generator backup.
• Internet connectivity is gained through multiple fiber optic connections, peered with over 500 networks and four Tier 1 upstream providers (MCI, Savvis, AT&T and Sprint). We have excellent connectivity and uptime for both domestic and international traffic. There is no fixed bandwidth cap to limit connectivity during high traffic periods.
